Heading to the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, Calif., the 1st Infantry Division out of Fort Riley, Kan. unloads heavy equipment from railcars at Yermo Annex, Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif., while the First Cavalry Division out of Fort Hood, Tex. loads its equipment onto trains following combat training at NTC. MCLB Barstow possesses the largest Department of Defense railhead in the world.
