Officer Matt Howard and his K-9 Dex respond to a report of a suspicious package during a training exercise held aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif., July 26. The team swept the area in search of other potentially dangerous objects while a team from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Office also responded to assist with removal of the package.
