Richard Ristow works on a vertical milling machine to design parts for a special stand to be used to support the Cougar variant of the MRAP so that mechanics can safely work on it. Ristow has 35 years of experience as a machinist, a large part of that at Production Plant Barstow,aboard the Yermo Annex of Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif.
