Artisans at Production Plant Barstow, Marine Depot Maintenance Command redesigned and mounted the plaque, signage, chains and posts at Obregon Park on the Yermo Annex aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif., Nov. 15. The plaque honors Private First Class Eugene Arnold Obregon for his conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his own life, above and beyond the call of duty, while serving with Company G, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines.
