Private First Class Adrian Velasco, an administrative clerk with Headquarters Battalion, Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, explains to children of base's Child Development Center who Dr. Seuss was and entertains them by telling some of his rhymes while they color at McTureous Hall aboard base during the Dr. Seuss Birthday Bash March 2. For the event, children were taught about the importance of reading and learned new ways to have fun while doing it.
