Barstow locals enjoyed the 80th annual Kiwanis Mardi Gras Parade going down Main Street, Oct. 27. Marines aboard the Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, as well as soldiers stationed at Fort Irwin and many local organizations were seen smiling and waving aboard floats or vehicles, or dancing down the street. Bystanders showed up to give their support for their community, many of them dressed in their Halloween costumes.
