Corporals Anthony Andrusewech, Luke Hine, and Ivan Roloncalderon with MCLB Barstow Fire & Emergency Services were awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for their outstanding professionalism and lifesaving emergency response during a temporary authorized duty assignment from Jan. 5 to July 3, 2026 aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, California, June 23. These #marines flawlessly executed a critical civilian-military staffing contingency plan, setting a new operational precedent while responding to dozens of emergency incidents.
