Airmen with the missile maintenance crew from 1st Air Space Test Squadron at Vanderberg AFB in Santa Barbara, Calif., load a transporter-erector-launcher onto the railhead at Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow's Yermo Annex, Feb. 24. The TEL is a self-propelled vehicle which transports and erects a missile to the vertical position in order to launch it and the movement of the launcher is another example of the efficiency and productivity benefits gained by working in a joint military environment.
